THE RIGHT DECKING CHOICE
Not all faux teak boat flooring is the same. Permateek marine decking is a very high quality product, made using only the finest quality virgin PVC materials. It is thermally welded, rather than glued, to form synthetic teak boards. Permateek is one of the only major synthetic teak decking companies to have resisted the temptation to add light-weight fillers. Because we have kept to our proven formula, our product is stronger and more hard-wearing. It will hold its colour and keep its grain longer and be more resistant to wear, tear, knocks and scratches. It will not fade, crack, warp or shrink in the elements, only requiring minimal maintenance (washing) to keep it looking good year after year.
We offer a selection of 15 attractive boat flooring color options which can be ordered with either white, silver or black caulking lines, giving you even more choice over the look of your new boat flooring.
There is very little “downtime” as we will only need a couple of days on the boat – one to pattern and one to fit. All other work is done off site, so you can continue to enjoy your boating season while your synthetic teak decking is being fabricated.
Each individual plank of Permateek is meticulously welded together by hand, resulting in a traditional teak appearance for the deck. This process avoids the use of any adhesives, which are commonly employed by inferior brands. Adhesives can lead to splitting and cracking over time, compromising the integrity of the deck. Instead, every plank of Permateek is thermally welded, effectively removing any potential weak spots from the deck's structure. This attention to craftsmanship ensures a durable and aesthetically pleasing surface that stands the test of time.
The deck is subsequently and accurately shaped using a CNC machine that is sufficiently large to accommodate the entire deck. This advanced technology ensures precision in the cutting process, allowing for intricate designs and configurations.
The finishing touches on your deck are carried out in a regulated setting, ensuring a smooth installation process. This meticulous approach guarantees that every detail is perfected before the deck is put in place.
